Swim lessons provide children with skills they can use now and for the rest of their lives. Semi-Private Lessons are lessons for two or more students designed to cater to each individual student's needs. We invite you to join our family.
Angelfish Swim specializes in personalized swim instruction tailored to meet your swim needs. Customized scheduling of lessons, to fit your busy schedule. Private instruction, two students to one teacher, provides an optimal learning environment. All ages and swim levels are welcome. Lessons are taught using a simple progression. Skills are broken down into simple small steps and introduced with an element of fun. Having fun while learning is a major goal of each lesson.
At Angelfish Swim School we've created a bright and positive learning environment for children. We take swim lessons seriously; our goal is not only to teach children to swim, but to help them develop an understanding of the water. We believe that learning to swim is a skill that will last a lifetime and one that no person should go without, young or old. Our classes are taught in a friendly environment, and our approach to teaching is based on creativity and fun. Our goal is to create a positive impression on both our students and their parents; one that will last long after our classes have finished.
By maintaining an outstanding staff and strong parental involvement, we encourage your children to develop sportsmanship, dedication, self-discipline, goal-setting skills and a sense of self-worth that will allow each one to achieve their highest potential. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of instruction at all levels for the children in and around our community.
Not all swim lessons are created equal.
The other Austin swim businesses offer 30 minutes with 5 kids in a class, or 45 minutes with 7 kids in a class. This means every kids averages about 6 minutes of attentive instruction per class. So what does your money get you? With 8 classes, this means your kids will probably have about 48 minutes of the instructor's time.
The price for a “6-minute lesson” in Austin is about $13-$25 lesson in a group class setting.
At Angelfish Swim School , we offer 30-minute lessons, however we limit our classes to just two kids per class . This means both children receive 15 minutes of personal instruction per class. With 6 semi-private classes in a package, this offers each child 90 minutes with the instructors.
The price for our semi-private class is only $20 per child! It's the price of a group lesson, yet at a semi-private student-to-instructor 2:1 ratio, which makes it the best deal around.
This is a major reason why Angelfish Swim School 's formula provides a proven results-oriented environment at a price everyone can afford.
This is a parent friendly environment because the parent only has to make 6 trips to get twice the minutes of personal attention for their child.

Going all the way back to the beginning, when the business plan for Angelfish Swim School was being developed, creating a program that's tailored for a child ‘s optimal progression was our primary focus. A program that allows the learning curve to be amplified, while understanding that the limits of child's attention span and focus must also be taken in account.
Utilizing well-seasoned, experienced instructors who teach established lesson plans, and doing so with a firm, direct, yet nurturing, fun approach further magnifies the Angelfish Swim School mission.
One more thing, Angelfish Swim offers it to you at your pace, providing the comfort of having the options of taking lessons 1x/week all the up to 4x/week. We recommend 1x/week to 2x/week.
